Study Plan, Budget, and Calendar
Last week we posted the final step in how to study with the Gleim Review materials. Before you begin studying you want to be sure you have a study plan and time budget prepared and have it written down on a calendar.
Complete one study unit at a time. In other words, do not start a study unit and skip to the next unit before completing the first one. You should also complete them in order. Initially, budget 3 to 4 hours per study unit (1 to 2 hours studying the outline and about 1.5 minutes each on the all the multiple-choice questions).
Each week, you should evaluate your progress and review your preparation plans for the time remaining prior to the exam. Use a calendar to note the exam dates and the weeks to go before the exam. Marking a calendar will facilitate your planning. Review your commitments, e.g. out-of-town assignments, personal responsibilities, etc., and note them on your calendar to assist you in keeping to your schedule.
