Amy Ford is an Instructor of Accountancy at Western Illinois University (WIU) where she teaches financial, managerial, and advanced management accounting classes. Ford also serves as the faculty advisor of the WIU student chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants (SCIMA). In 2011, the IMA named her the IMA Faculty Mentor of the Year. That same year, she passed the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) exam with one of the top scores in the world and was awarded a Certificate of Distinguished Performance.
Prior to teaching, Ford worked in public accounting. She is both a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA). Ford earned both her Bachelors of Business in Accounting and her Masters of Accountancy from WIU in 2001 and 2002, respectively.
Ford brings her public accounting, teaching, and CMA exam experience to the CMA Gleim Instruct Video Series, which is included with the Gleim CMA Review System. She shares her classroom expertise and work experiences to help candidates better prepare for and understand the topics tested on the CMA exam.
