The simulation mimics the exam’s functionality and gives you the chance to explore the exam interface. The sample test lets you see the exam layout and practice with the exam question types and tools. The sample test isn’t nearly as long as the CMA exam, but it can still serve as a practice CMA exam.
The Institute of Management Accountant’s certification division is the Institute of Certified Management Accountants, and they’re the experts on exam content and processes. In their CMA Candidate Handbook Opens in new window, ICMA shares information detailing the following steps:

The ICMA builds the CMA exam using Content Specification Outlines (CSOs) and publishes them for candidates and review providers to see. In addition to CSOs, the ICMA publishes Exam Learning Outcome Statements (LOSs) Opens in new window to communicate what will be on the exam, how the content coverage will be distributed, and how each concept will be tested.
