- Do NOT study questions to memorize the
answers! Instead, answer questions under exam conditions for these benefits:
- Understand and learn from your mistakes before you take the knowledge test.
- Build your proficiency to 80%+ before you take your actual exam.
- To prepare for the FAA knowledge test, follow
these simple steps for each study unit to ensure your success:
- First, read and study the outline.
- Second, create and complete a study session of all questions in the
study unit. When complete, create a study session of questions you
answered incorrectly.
- To quickly create this study session, click on the Create a new study session from questions answered incorrectly link in the Grade Report section of the performance analysis. For each question, analyze and understand why you answered it incorrectly. This step is an essential learning activity.
- You must choose the correct answer for each missed question before you may move on to the next element of the course.
- Third, create and complete a test session of all questions in the study unit.
- After you have graded your test session, create a study session based
on the questions you missed in the test session.
- When the last study unit is complete, take a Practice FAA test
to prepare for your actual knowledge test.
- After completion of each standard FAA test, be sure to review the explanations for those questions missed.
- When 80% or higher is consistently achieved on your practice FAA tests, take and pass the actual FAA knowledge test ASAP.
Congratulations on your success.
