During the creation of a standard test session, you will be
prompted to select the type of emulation you would like to use.
Standard tests can be taken in either of the two test emulations.
These test emulations allow you to simulate the actual testing environment that you will encounter when you take your FAA test. The emulations reproduce the look and feel of the different vendors' products so that you know exactly what to expect when you actually take your exam. Be sure to find out which type of test your local testing center offers. Then practice your tests in the correct emulation mode to become familiar with the display and controls you will encounter on your test.
